9th Grade Art Class | Animal Still Life

In high school, we had to do a lot of sketch practice to get to know the basic first step for almost every medium ever! After that, we did a lot of still life drawings, and one of them had the class take a picture of an animal and draw that animal. I picked a dog, but it ended up looking like a bird. The Bird is sitting on a cup and the cup has a straw or some silverware product sticking out of it. I made this using a pencil and a blending stump.
